A healthy marriage requires an ever-deepening bond as you navigate life’s inevitable challenges. As you embark on the lifelong journey of marriage, you'll learn how to strengthen your relationship with your spouse and tap into precious opportunities to grow together.

Friday, May 2nd through Sunday, May 4th, 2025. This weekend retreat starts Friday evening and ends Sunday afternoon around 12pm.

Location

Situated just north of Bend, Oregon, The Newlywed Workshop will be held in Sisters, Oregon — a rustic town nestled between mountains, lakes, and beautiful landscape.


Sisters Community Church (1300 McKenzie Hwy Sisters, OR 97759) will be the main headquarters for this event. The spacious and beautiful setting of their stunning Fireside Room provides just the right blend of ambiance and community. Meet other couples, form lasting bonds, and learn real truths about yourself and your partner that you can take and build on for a lifetime.

Cost

Save your spot and score Early Bird Pricing ($295 per couple) when you register by March 31st, 2025. Ticket costs will increase to $350 (per couple) on April 1st, 2025. The cost of your ticket includes food and drink, all the seminar sessions and materials, lots of fun, and plenty of fellowship. Lodging is not included in the attendance cost. 


We have a deep desire to encourage marriages to last a lifetime, therefore we want to make it as affordable as possible for couples to attend! Lodging is not included in the attendance cost. Scholarships are available — please contact Maria for more details.

Chad and Jenise Johnson | Coaches

Chad and Jenise will celebrate 32 years of being married in August of 2025 and still seem to like each other, a lot! 😉 


They're passionate about living out a Godly marriage and enjoy seeing other couples experience rich, real, romantic, and unified married lives. Chad and Jenise love sharing the lessons they've learned — from good, bad, and ugly — that they've experienced in their own lives and truly believe that God is able to create masterpiece marriages from ordinary lives. 


The joy of being married is very real to them and they love to share truth from God’s word and personal experience to increase other’s joy in marriages that are just getting started. 


Chad and Jenise live in Bend, Oregon with 6 of their eleven children. Three daughters are now married and they have 11 grandchildren and 13th on the way.

Married for over 44 years, Blanche and her husband, Orville, spent a lifetime serving others in the missionary and ministry fields. In 2007, the Lord spoke to Blanche and the concept of this retreat was born. Blanche loves and sees God everywhere in beautiful  Central Oregon and there is nowhere else she would rather be than on the trail.
